O'GeneRuler 1 kb DNA Ladder, ready-to-use

Thermo Scientific O'GeneRuler 1 kb DNA Ladder - 250-10,000 bp, ready-to-use is recommended for sizing and approximate quantification of a wide range of double-stranded DNA fragments in agarose gels. The ladder is a mixture of chromatography-purified individual DNA fragments.

O'GeneRuler 1 kb DNA Ladder, ready-to-use is premixed with 6X Orange DNA Loading Dye, which contains xylene cyanol FF and orange G. In a 1% agarose gel, orange G dye migrates at 50 bp. O'GeneRuler 1 kb DNA Ladder is ideal when visualization of small DNA fragments is important.

The ladder is supplied with 6X Orange DNA Loading Dye for sample DNA.

Quality Control
  • Tested in appropriate gel electrophoresis applications.
  • Concentration of each DNA fragment and of the complete ladder determined spectrophotometrically.
  • The absence of nucleases confirmed by appropriate tests.
